Hey, I’m Ronin.
Before I ever picked up a tattoo machine, I was inspecting aerospace parts in San Diego. Forty to fifty-hour weeks, night shifts, barely 4–6 hours of sleep… and still squeezing in time to tattoo part-time.
It was stable, but it wasn’t living. I’d been obsessed with drawing since I was a kid—Saint Seiya, Dragon Ball, Ranma ½, Captain Tsubasa, Samurai Pizza Cats… all that colorful, high-energy anime had its hooks in me from the start.
